Things to see and do on Skye
There is so much to see and do, these are just a few of our favourites to get you started, some of the things that we think might be of interest in helping to plan your visit:

- Biod an Athair (20 min drive) - highest sea cliffs on Skye and early religious settlements
- Coral Beach (30 min drive) - a great short walk with an amazing beach and seal colony adjacent.
- Dun Hallin (20 min drive) - an amazing lookout point, with views of the Outer Isles and mainland, good remains give impression of true size.
- Fairy Pools (40 mins drive) - mesmerising aqua pools and waterfalls, in the foothills of the Majestic Cuillin
- Fasach - Aros Bay, Waternish (20 min drive) - walk over the forestry tracks with wonderful wild summer flowers to the peaceful white sands at Aros Bay. Great for sea eagles - refer to map here.
- Greshornish Forestry (10 min drive) - good footpaths through forestry to headland and shore, with good shelter in wind or rain – adjacent to above
- Greshornish Point (10 mins drive) - forestry, coastal, wildlife, a bit of everything.
- Loch Coruisk (60 min drive) - Skyes classic Cuillin walk, boat in walk out.
- MacLeods Maidens (30 min drive) - everchangjng panoramic horizons, from the mainland, to the Cuillin and the small isles, wildlife includes seabirds, deer, and sea eagles!
- MacLeods Tables (30 min drive) - read the legends, do the walk, then rest a while!
- Neist Point (40 mins drive) - wild and fabulous in calm or storms, and great for whalewatching and seabird diving!
- Ramasaig to Lorgill (40 min drive) - a tranquil and eerie clearance glen with echos of voices past, 13 waterfalls lead to a boulder shore where the clear restless ocean calls – evocative!
- The Old Man of Storr (40 mins drive) - an otherworldly, supernaturally dramatic landscape, and recognisable from big screen epics like Highlander and Stardust!
- Waternish Point (30 min drive) - a great mix of historic, legend and wildlife, churches, duns, lighthouses and fantastic whale and shark watching – boat in/walk out is an option.
